Glamorous, provocative, beautiful, accomplished, magical, fashion photographs have always been associated with some of the most recognized names of the field: Cecil Beaton, Irving Penn, Helmut Newton, Mario Testino or Edward Steichen, who in 1911 took the images considered the first fashion photographs.

The editors and directors of Condé Nast: Alexander Liberman, Diana Vreeland and Franca Sozzani promoted the career of many photographers. The publishing house created at the beginnings of the 20th century placed the magazine Vogue at the forefront of the photographic vanguard, while its studios in New York, Paris and London became important laboratories of creativity, where enthusiastic artists have captured and shown the gems of haute couture.

This exhibition brings together the first images taken by more than 80 photographers. Carefully selected from the Condé Nast archives, the original prints are accompanied by the pages of its most emblematic magazines. This is a unique opportunity to see the work of the photographers who later became the most recognized names in the history of fashion photography.

Includes: Horst P. Horst, David Bailey, Erwin Blumenfeld, Guy Bourdin, Corinne Day, Peter Lindbergh, Helmut Newton, Sølve Sundsbø, Bruce Weber, Tim Walker…
