Since its opening, the Myl Arte Contemporáneo has stood out by presenting projects with high artistic quality, relevant messages, and above all, a social nature.

In this sense, together with the Prince Claus Fund and the Embassy of the Netherlands in Mexico, we are presenting the launch of PhotoBox 2015, an initiative of the Prince Claus Fund that consists in the limited edition of a collection of photographs by artists who have received awards or collaborated with the Fund. The international show includes the work of Yto Barrada (France), Rena Effendi (Azerbaijan), Maya Goded (Mexico), Van Leo (Turkey), Santu Mofokeng (South Africa), Zanele Muholi (South Africa), Dayanita Singh (India) and Akram Zaatari (Lebanon). At the same time Myl Arte Contemporáneo is pleased to host a photographic exhibit with works by other Mexican artists who have won this award, such as Francisco Toledo and Maya Goded.

These exhibitions are a unique opportunity to explore different ways of seeing and capturing personal and social problems in particular contexts.
