A city of enormous hills and industrial chimneys, where the river is flooded by hurricanes, and the pavement grows so that automobiles can circulate. Land of enlightened men who founded universities and women whose struggle was forgotten by history, where the American lifestyle is Mexicanized as in the Northeast of Mexico.
What begins as a work relationship often ends in an emotional bond. Through the vision of five photographers invited to interpret their link to Monterrey, we discover through different narratives that it is possible to recognize ourselves from our own contradicitons. | Mariana David
