Hydra + microcoleccionismo exposes new audiences to art photography. We are interested in promoting the collecting of photographs and in showing the richness and diversity of current photography practice in Mexico. 

In this sense, it seemed essential to us to present this project at the FOTO MÉXICO festival, in order to create links between the artists and the public, and thus contribute to the construction of more plural practices in the circulation and consumption of art. 

With a selection of thirteen emerging artists, Hydra + Fotografía presents an exhibition of work especially commissioned for the show. The experience of gallery-goers will be particularly significant as some of the artists will be present to engage in conversation with them.
