1440 by Diego Berruecos is a collection/album of images corresponding to the minutes that make up the 24 hours of each day. The rules to develop this project are very simple: over the course of 15 years, the artist asked each person that he knew to choose an exact minute of the day, and write down his or her name and address. Later, as a commission, the artist would take two photos of whatever was in front of him at the indicated time. The result is an archive of 1440 slides corresponding to each minute of the day. In addition to the images that are exhibited in real time, a series of documents created based on the logistics implied in the creation of this piece will also be displayed: an archive with lists, returned photographs, an agenda, and the photographic record of the process of the project. 1440 is a collection of time, people and images that represent, in some way, the personal life of Diego Berruecos.
