Doubernard

I have no memories, and I can only recognize myself through photographs among those who never knew me. Looking for answers in family albums, I discovered the power that images have of keeping people alive. And so I construct and assert the fictions and foundations of my own existence—of what was, what could have been, and maybe even what really is. Seeing repetitive habits and rituals in these albums makes me develop new attachments to this familiar imaginary.
